Bloomington is the fifth largest city in the state of Minnesota with a population of over 82,000. Located on the north bank of the Minnesota River, Bloomington lies at the heart of the southern metro area, 10 miles south of downtown Minneapolis.
The city is a hospitality and retail magnet, recognized nationally for the United States’ largest enclosed shopping center, Mall of America. Aside from the Mall of America, Bloomington is less than ten miles away from Minneapolis, which offers rich a selection of nightlife, fine dining, and 5-star hotels. It is presently the only suburb in the south metro to be served by the Hiawatha Train Line.
